IIT JAM 2022: Exam on Feb 13

IIT JAM 2022 is on 13 Feb 2022, candidates can check the syllabus, previous year’s question paper, paper pattern, and other details here.

IIT JAM 2022 admit card has released on January 16. Candidates can download the IIT JAM admit card by logging in to the exam website. IIT Roorkee has also released a travel pass which will ensure candidates’ smooth journey to the exam centre. Previously, the release date for the admit card was Jan 4. The exam will held by IIT Roorkee on Feb 13. This year, two exam cities have been added in Haldwani, Uttarakhand and Port Blair, Andaman and Nicobar Island. The exam will be conducted in a computer-based mode (CBT) or online mode for seven subjects which are Biotechnology (BT), Chemistry (CY), Economics (EN), Geology (GG), Mathematics (MA), Mathematical Statistics (MS) and Physics (PH).

IIT Joint Admission Test for MSc, IIT JAM 2022 will held on February 13, 2022. Indian Institute of Technology IIT Roorkee will conduct the postgraduate admission test in an online mode. Candidates appearing for the IIT JAM examination can check and download their IIT JAM admit cards 2022 from the official website– jam.iitr.ac.in.  

IIT JAM Admit Card

IIT JAM 2022 admit cards can download online mode on the website. Candidates have to take a printout of the admit card before appearing for the examination. It would be mandatory for the candidates to carry their admit card 2022 to the exam centre along with ID proof. 

IIT JAM Syllabus

IIT Roorkee has released the syllabus of the exam. Candidates can download the PDFs of the IIT JAM syllabus for each subject from the official website of the exam. As compared to last year, the syllabus has remained the same. The exam syllabus is of the BSc level of the respective subjects.

Paper Pattern

IIT JAM 2022 exam pattern has remained the same as that of last year. It is a computer-based test of three hours duration which will conduct in two slots. The total number of questions is 60 and the total mark is 100. There are three types of questions, which are Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), Multiple Select Questions (MCQs), and Numerical Answer Type (NAT). There is a differential marking scheme in the exam and a negative marking scheme for each wrong answer.
